Expedition Passo Tonale: Just a few facts to remember

The most favorite terms of the week:

"Do Madonny"  - translation "Do Prdele" 

 "Mofo" -  usage frequency was increasing  as Rory's big grin grown after 5 pm (beer had nothing to do with that ;-))

Dino: "I'm going to read my book" (no lie !!! Dino even missed a few parties) 

Katka: "Takze v 8!!! na snidani, jooooooooooooo !!!": everybody is meeting at 8 !!!  for breakfast  ( pozn.  it was command - there was not a  place for discussion :-)

Dino: (about Passo Tonale usually to local Italians) "here in Passo TONDALE ...jezisssssssssss promiiiinnnn (cesky) .... I mean  TONDALE del Passo" !!! ( and yes, our crew member TONDA was very happy !!!)

Keath: (everywhere) "Alice, jak se ma tvoje krabiceeeee ????" (the true meaning of this questions remains a secret of our group)

Our week was exceptional in many ways:

Our average Car Speed on the way back from Italy to Prague was 49 km/h and the journey  took us approximately 16 hours.

Tonda established a new world record (I'm sure)  in number of hours you can ski within one week. No matter,  what else we were doing (like taking a break and drinking hot wine), Tonda was always skiing :-)))

Dino established a new world record (I'm sure) in number of hours you can do whatever else then skiing when in Italian Alps. (things like reading a book :-)

We all did not fail and every single day went to sleep as the last group from the hotel. (That was quite expected) Anyway our cheers goes to Irish Group from the  neighbouring dinner table which quite unexpectedlly became a very competitive rival to our group.

And a few highlights from pre-mountains organizational week showing our unique communication skills:

Tonik: Hi!!!!!!

In spite of my Langmaster went to happy hounting grounds, I trying to write this email to practice my English before we left to Italy. I think we should arrange a meeting because we have to settle some points of our expedition: Meeting Poit, Meeting Time, games that I should prepare for car-time, senteces that I have to practice for english conversation with Dean (Bring the plants indoors when it's cold - It will not be enough, I think) and thinks like that. So please be so kind and tell me, when we can do this meeting

Zed: We meeting set to soon no Friday minus won dey. Me work lots on Thursday already. We sayed Martina and I we meet Sat 7 a.m. Letna, ja?!? Tonda meet Holesovice Igor drive Sat 6:30, ja?! Juu anderstand, ja? Me propose Wednesday, ja?! Let know me, ja?! Me apology, english not gut, ja?!

Tonik: Je ne compren pas. Nous avons meeting Vendredi ou Vendredi moins un jour???  Je serai a la Holesovice quartier Samedi 6:30 dans la matinee avec Igor. OKe!

Zed: Nous avons pas le meeting a Jeudi pas que je suis busy avec quelqecheuse. Je propose un meeting a mercredi soir. L'autre plan es ce tu arrive avec Igor dans Holesovice Samedi matin au 6.30., ok?

Martina: Hele, ja nepanimaju daze vasego slova. Ili Ja chotila sprasit, cto vy delajete sivodnja vecerom? U minja v kvartire budet nachoditsa filmovyj chokkejovyj klub i tak sivodnja by mucite objazatelno prijdjot.
